On Friday night, we went to see It’s a Wonderful Life performed at a local Nashville playhouse. It’s my favorite Christmas movie. I cry every time — and this year was no exception.

That movie gets one thing profoundly right: most of us never fully see the ripple effect of our lives while we’re living them. We don’t always understand how much we matter until we imagine what the world would look like without us in it.

That truth feels especially relevant as I reflect on this past year at TwelveStone.

Every single person on this team matters. And in ways you may never fully see, you have created countless “wonderful life” moments — calming fear, restoring hope, and caring for patients and families navigating some of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.

Recently, a patient shared this in a five-star Google review:

“The staff is really super nice. They make sure you have everything you might need to be comfortable. They are very knowledgeable about your case and double-check everything to ensure no mistakes are made. There has never been a wait time, and they schedule your next appointment before you ever leave. The office is extremely clean — which matters so much to me because I have a serious immune impairment. You will never regret letting them take care of your medical needs.”

That review reflects something we see every day — but sometimes forget to pause and acknowledge.

Because you showed up.
Because you paid attention.
Because you cared.

The world is genuinely better because of it.

What makes me most proud isn’t just the professionalism or clinical excellence — though those are exceptional. It’s the heart behind the work. The humor that lightens hard moments. The quiet willingness to step in when it matters most. The way you care not only for patients, but for one another.

Healthcare is demanding. Life is demanding. And yet, day after day, you continue to serve with compassion, excellence, and grace.

If you hear a bell this Christmas season, it’s not an angel getting its wings.

It’s just me — applauding you.

From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I am deeply grateful for this team and proud of what we do together. I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.
